Swedish regulator awards ATDI contract for Spectrum Management: June 2010
The Swedish regulator Post-och Telestyrelsen (PTS) has chosen ATDI Ltd, to define and tabulate the country’s radio resources. ATDI will use its flagship spectrum management tool, ICS Manager, to present the information to PTS in a series of databases.

Delegates at an ATDI seminar were told that the shortage of spectrum space is less an overall problem and more of a function of too much demand for prime spots. The seminar, titled Spectrum Management: Can We Co-Exist Without Tears, heard from various presenters including Julian McGougan, head of public policy and regulatory affairs at Arqiva, that “most spectrum is little used most of the time in most places.”
